Cancellation Policy:
Life happens and sometimes you may not make a scheduled ballroom dance lesson. In the event you need to reschedule/cancel, email or call as far in advance as possible and you will not be charged if it's more than 24 hours in advance. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in a $20 fee. ANY no-show appointment will automatically be charged $20 This fee may be paid by special arrangement or added to your next lesson if you have scheduled one. If I am able to fill your cancelled slot in short notice then I will gladly waive the cancellation fee for you.

What do I bring to my ballroom dance lesson?
- Water - to say hydrated.
- Clean shoes to change into so the dance floor remains free of dirt from the outside.
- For Wedding dance couples, cd of song choice(s) to dance to (If I don't already have your song)
- For Wedding dance couples, it's recommended to practice in your wedding shoes for a lesson or two.

New Student Registration Forms?
New Dance Because dance students may choose to complete registration at the studio prior to their first lesson or earlier by printing the online registration form and bringing the completed form to their first lesson.

What do I wear to my ballroom dance lesson?
The dress code is casual. I want you to be comfortable so you can wear jeans, slacks, business casual, or workout gear. No special outfits are needed. Wear comfortable shoes, preferably with leather soles. No flip-flops or slip-on shoes.

How do I pay?
Cash or check (made payable to Dance Because) is accepted at the beginning or end of lesson. Credit cards are not accepted. If you are purchasing a package, full package payment is due in full upon the first lesson of the package.

Will I experience a price increase?
- Current Dance Because students will not experience price changes for private ballroom dance lessons or dance lesson packages from the date they first become a student unless more than 30 days lapse in between lessons.
- In the event that 30 days lapse in between private lessons, the current price per lessons will be charged from that point forward.

What is the Returned Check Policy?
- In the event that a check payment is returned for insufficient funds, you will owe the amount of that check and a $25 returned check fee.
- Dance Because will send a bill with the total amount owed. The total owed must be paid before the next lesson is taken.
- If you are paying the total owed by check payment, the check must have cleared the bank before the next lesson. If you are paying the total owed at your next lesson, only cash or certified funds will be accepted.
- When a check is returned, Dance Because reserves the right to require payments by cash or certified funds.

Can I buy dance lesson packages?
Yes, dance lesson packages are available for cost savings. 4, 8, and 12 lesson packages are available and can be paid by cash or check. Payment is accepted at the beginning or end of lesson. Credit cards are not accepted.
- Packages expire 90 days from the date of the last lesson taken.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash or resold to Dance Because.
- Are only accepted as lesson payment from student(s) who made purchase.
- Dance Because reserves the right to give a package refund. If a refund request is granted, Dance Because may refund the amount of the package minus the current cost of one lesson.

Can I buy gift certificates?

How do I buy ballroom dance shoes?
Selecting a pair of ballroom dance shoes out of the hundreds you may see in a catalog is no easy task. I recommend Patterson's Back Bay Dancewear in Burlington, MA. Weather Cancellations:
New Hamphire weather continues to prove unpredictable! In the event I need to cancel dance lessons due to weather, I will send an email to you followed up by a telephone call to let you know. Lessons will be rescheduled and no fees will occur.
